HOW WE GIVE BACK

RESCUING LOCAL FAMILIES.

OUR CONNECTION WITH GEORGE TO THE RESCUE ON NBC

2,700 square feet of tile and 7 episodes later it’s still difficult to express the satisfaction we get from helping local families in need and doing it on television with a powerhouse like George Oliphant.

Fulfilling a community need is… fulfilling. In a short video homage to giving back, here’s our experience on George to the Rescue.

A HISTORY WE SHARE

Investing in our community means taking the bad with the good. October 29, 2012 wasn’t good. Lives were lost and thousands of homes destroyed. Tiles Unlimited was proud to assist 200 homeowners rebuild with 30,000 square feet of high-quality porcelain tile.

We then developed a Hurricane Recovery Program for continued local support that included deep discounts on tile and material. We continue to thank our customers, contractors and clients for spreading the word to connect us with neighbors in need.

PLAY4AUTISM

Providing a loving and interactive environment for autistic children is about as “worthy” as it gets. Supporting Play4Autism is our pleasure. We encourage you to do the same!

TOYS FOR TOTS

We are a Toys for Tots drop-off location. What started as a goal to collect 20 – 30 toys sparked our community to donate over 150 items to children in need!

As of December 2019, we have collected well over 690 toys for children in need.

Red Nose Day raises awareness and money to support impoverished children in our communities. Money raised helps change lives through projects designed to keep kids safe, healthy and educated.

Tiles Unlimited turned one charitable day into two bountiful weeks. Our in-store event reached out to customers, vendors and neighbors for assistance. The staff wore red noses — even our logo was furnished with a red nose for the occasion.

Our social media community got involved in a big way because we donated 50 cents every time they engaged with red nose post. A mini-site was created as well and Tiles Unlimited played a small but rewarding part in raising 42 million dollars for worthy charities like

  • Save the Children
  • Boys & Girls Clubs of America
  • Feeding America
  • National Urban League
  • Oxfam America
